How to login to your CBS Student Email Account

Step 1: Open a web browser and go to https://login.microsoftonline.com and enter your CBS student email address and then click the Next button.

Step 2: Enter the one-time password that was sent to you by the CBS Student Onboarding team. Click the Sign in button.

Step 3: Click the Next button.

Step 4: In order to be able to reset your password in case you forget it, please select how you want to receive the reset communication. You can use one method or both methods. We recommend the Authentication Phone option. Click the Set it up now link.

Step 5: Enter the required information for the method you selected in Step 4. In this example, the United States is selected for the country and the desired phone number is entered. Click the button for either a text message (recommended) or a phone call.

Step 6: In this example, text message was selected in Step 5.

Step 7: Enter the verification code in the box and click the Verify button.

If you wish to add another verification method please do so now. Otherwise, click the Finish button.

Step 9: If the computer you are using is owned by you and you want to reduce the number of times you are prompted to login then click the Yes button. If the computer you are using is not owned by you then click the No button. 

Step 10: You should now be logged into your CBS student Microsoft account. The menu bar on the left side will give you access to online applications such as Word, Outlook, etc.
